M16 Ministries

A silent anniversary crept up on me in 2019. This year marks the 10th anniversary of M16 Ministries' 501c3 application and approval. The ministry was born in 2006, but in 2009, it was sufficiently chugging along to go legit. Rather than set off a confetti bottle popper and go "woohoo!", I would rather reflect on the road and challenges of getting to this milestone. I think the new ministers would benefit from a fireside chat on what it took to get to this milestone anniversary. For some time now some of you probably know I am becoming more outspoken on issues of bad ministry I encounter when working with ritual abuse survivors.  Sadly the church is still stuck in the B-movie version of ritual abuse because of Rebecca Brown's wide popularity with her book, He Came to Set the Captives Free. Which read more of a fictional horror story than focusing on the realities of the lives of Christian men and women who were survivors of horrific childhood ritual abuse. Not a whole lot is known in the church about survivors and ritual abuse. I know I was completely broadsided by the reality of what survivors endured, back when Jesus drafted me into this ministry around 2010. It still continues to be a learning curve and stretch me in ministry. By the sheer nature of its complexities, there have been some gross misunderstandings of what ritual abuse is. I receive a lot of emails requesting help from people who believe they're  oppressed by demonic spirits because they hear internal voices. The current state of deliverance ministry in the church today needs to receive correction in how they handle people who are suffering from hearing internal voices. When people ask me for help and tell they are under attack by demonic voices, I ask them how they know the source is demonic. One common response from these people seeking help is, "well, I went to see this big deliverance minister, and they told me that I have demons." This assumption is based on the notion that the "BIG" deliverance minister can actually discern spirits. Sad fact. Many can't! If you are hearing internal voices and have gone to numerous ministers who can't cast these spirits out, I have a recommendation for you. Stop going to deliverance ministers. Ritual abuse survivors are beginning to surface in different parts of the world now. I live in Northern California, and there are quite a few survivors in my region. But I am getting calls from all over the world by survivors, pastors, and counselors. What is a ritual abuse survivor? It is someone who was traumatized severely from a young age and was forced into participating in secret society rituals. The high level of trauma involved in these rituals cased the human soul to fracture into multiple identities. Many times in ritual settings this fracturing is done deliberately by someone who was a handler or a programmer to instigate mind control. This deliberate dissociation of the human consciousness can be a tale tail sign of ritual abuse. But not always, a soul may be traumatized emotional, physically, or even sexually as a child and have dissociative identity disorder (DID), but not be a ritual abuse survivor. Some of you may be wondering where M16 Ministries went after we stopped doing Night Strike on the streets of San Francisco. Well, we didn't go away and close our doors. We received new marching orders, back in 2015 ( Night Strike Ministry is Coming to an End ) from God in the direction we were to pursue. Since 2013 God has had the ministry slowly re-align into Christian counseling, at In the Potter's Hands with Toni Taigen. In this role, M16 Ministries has been working with some very dark spiritual warfare cases. The ministry gets referrals from other churches and counselors on cases involving survivors of severe trauma, and ritual abuse. What one of my pastoral friends refers as sending me cases "above his pay grade". As the ministry went into darker waters of spiritual warfare, I became less and less unable to share testimonies. As a Christian counselor in the San Francisco Bay area, I have the pleasure of working with people who survived childhood trauma.  In counseling sessions, we work on inner healing to help heal the part of the soul that was wounded or in more severe cases fractured into multiple identities in consciousness. During these sessions, Jesus Christ is the one who brings healing to the wounded soul. My job as a counselor and spiritual director is to work with these souls and identities connect with Jesus. From these sessions, I have observed a growing trend where souls are not able to connect with the indwelling Jesus. Why I find this startling is because a lot of these souls are people I worked with at one point or another in evangelistic outreach ministries. This observation was curious to me that these souls could do prophetic ministry and yet not hear God for themselves. How is that these people could hear from God for others, but not connect with God at all on a very subtle level?...

While I was doing time on my spin cycle this morning a thought hit me about sexual immorality and how it is affecting the church body at large. Somehow this information in my head was just swirling around as I peddled this morning. So why was I pondering the mysteries of the universe and what’s this about sexual immorality? Was my head in the gutter? Let me rewind here a bit and bring you up to speed. I have been working the past couple of days on a writing project that required me to research and write a chapter on biblical sin. When you start to study the scripture on sin you see some common terminology of God’s law surface. These words are sin, transgressions, and iniquities. PART I - Working with Survivors of the Occult and Severe Trauma A CRASH COURSE On Saturday, March 5, at the Bay Area Sunday School Convention (2016),  M16 Ministries and In the Potter's Hands Christian Counseling put on a crash course in working with survivors of the occult (ritual abuse) and severe trauma. Toni Taigen of In the Potter's Hands, and myself, usually have a 2 hour presentation each on the subject matter, and that's barely the tip of the ice berg. AT B.A.S.S., we each spoke for about 15 minutes to drive the point home on the topic. And afterwards we had a 45 minute Q & A Session. In this section I am going to make the basic introductions and open with the objectives of the discussion for this training session. It must be the end of the year! My email inbox is starting to fill up with requests from other ministries to donate to them at the 11th hour before the end of 2015. I enjoy reading the marketing strategies of some of these telethon like campaigns. Some ministry campaigns strategize on the emotions and urgency, “Clock is ticking!”, or “It’s not too late!”. When I read those captions, it doesn’t feel right in the spirit with me. I know it’s the end of the year and we’re all closing our books on 2015. We’re 501c3s we have to show no profit to the IRS. Sure the bank account will be dry. I just feel in my spirit that for me, M16 is a supernatural ministry and all my campaigning for fund raising will happen during a 21 day Daniel fast at the start of the New Year. Oh wait, that is tomorrow. I am pretty much at ease God is in control of 2016.
