 In episode 04 of The Supernatural Through His Word, we dive into Genesis 7 -the flood! The cosmic event setup by the depravity of the Watchers in Genesis 6. God will wipe out creation and save His remnant, both man and animals in an ark. Genesis 7 cover the deluge, the bursts of water from the deep and from the heavens. We see the reverse of creation as God blots out the wickedness of mankind and the Watchers. Was the ark a form of baptism? Why did God save Noah? How did the animals know to come to the ark and bring their mates? Last November I had the pleasure to be interviewed on Laura Maxwell's radio show - The Supernatural on Eternal Radio. Laura has an incredible ministry of reaching New Agers and spiritualists with the Gospel. I was interviewed for a Halloween show on the subject of Ritual Abuse and Mind Control. I have had the incredible opportunity this year to be a guest on several radio shows. I noticed a trend while doing these radio shows that most people were inquiring more about Jesus and His background than asking me about spiritual warfare questions. Was Jesus God incarnate? The quick answer is yes. And the long answer is I can write volumes on this theology. But if I do that I will put you to sleep, or I will lose you altogether. I had some one-on-one time with Jesus in my car, during my commute, about how to answer this question. Was Jesus God incarnate, or just a man? As I had this commute conversation with Jesus (called mental prayer), the interior discussion led to wrapping my thoughts around the theology of the virgin birth of Jesus. Now hold on, We'll get through this! What I wanted was the shortest approach to answering if Jesus was God incarnate. Apparently, this was the answer I received during mental prayer. As a Christian counselor in the San Francisco Bay area, I have the pleasure of working with people who survived childhood trauma.  In counseling sessions, we work on inner healing to help heal the part of the soul that was wounded or in more severe cases fractured into multiple identities in consciousness. During these sessions, Jesus Christ is the one who brings healing to the wounded soul. My job as a counselor and spiritual director is to work with these souls and identities connect with Jesus. From these sessions, I have observed a growing trend where souls are not able to connect with the indwelling Jesus. Why I find this startling is because a lot of these souls are people I worked with at one point or another in evangelistic outreach ministries. This observation was curious to me that these souls could do prophetic ministry and yet not hear God for themselves. How is that these people could hear from God for others, but not connect with God at all on a very subtle level?...

Following the Holy Spirit is always an adventure. He places dreams on your heart, and speaks to you in dreams when you sleep. I never fully knew where I was being taken in His plans when I was launched into spiritual warfare ministry back in 2008. The Holy Spirit taught me supernatural ministry on the streets. I really enjoyed His one-on-one training. What I encountered on the streets of San Francisco was to later prepare me for the plans He had for me in ministry. Since that time the Holy Spirit has trained me in deliverance ministry and beyond. My heart was always for the street ministry, but I was needed elsewhere. The Holy Spirit had trained me in some very dark spiritual warfare, again it fell under the charter of M16 Ministries, helping those who had nowhere else to turn. While I was doing time on my spin cycle this morning a thought hit me about sexual immorality and how it is affecting the church body at large. Somehow this information in my head was just swirling around as I peddled this morning. So why was I pondering the mysteries of the universe and what’s this about sexual immorality? Was my head in the gutter? Let me rewind here a bit and bring you up to speed. I have been working the past couple of days on a writing project that required me to research and write a chapter on biblical sin. When you start to study the scripture on sin you see some common terminology of God’s law surface. These words are sin, transgressions, and iniquities. As a scriptural example, let’s look at psalm 51. This past week I had the absolute pleasure to minister with some awesome men of God, from New Hope Evangelical, from Orange City, Iowa. George and Eric Rankin led the team, including Eric's teenage son, William, Joel Leusink, Effiong Bassey, and yours truly. It was an incredible group of men and there was some great Holy Spirit synergy during the prayer sessions we had. Thank you gentlemen for inviting me out to minister with you. We stayed at a facility in Haiti, at the United Christian's International , run by Pastor Jean Jean (pronounced Jon Jon)  and his wife, Christie. One of my favorite days of doing ministry is always on Friday the 13th. For most people it is a taboo day of self-expectant bad luck. I love this day because God loves to mock taboo especially Friday the 13th. God seems to really cut loose on this cyclic calendar date. For some time I had been praying to be released into sending Night Strike teams back into the Mission District. As I purchased food and drove it over to Mary S, for her team to prep, I was having a conversation with Jesus in my car. Jesus had a plan and I was to take a Night Strike team and return a Night Strike presence in the Mission district of San Francisco. TONIGHT! In the evening, as the team leaders met up at our IN-N-Out Burger carpool location, it turns out that Mary S was the first to volunteer to be on the team to go out tonight. What Mary didn't realize was that I was given confirmation to GO tonight. Mary asked me if she needed anyone who spoke Spanish to go with me to the Mission. My eyes lit up and I...

For most of you reading this post, it is a celebration of Good Friday. It is a day of remembrance for what Jesus did on the cross for ME. I know, you expected me to write, a religious day of remembrance, celebrated by Christians, for Jesus' victory on the cross. Or you may be from the school, that it is Christian celebration for the myth of Christ to control the masses. Believe what ever you want to believe. But the accurate definition, a day of remembrance for what Jesus did for ME!  If there is any confusion, speak it out loud to yourself. These are not magic incantations or the ramblings of a lunatic. Speak it out verbatim as I have it for you here. These words are for you. Good Friday is a day of remembrance for what Jesus did for ME! This definition is universal. It goes beyond, Christian doctrine, whether Protestant, Catholic, or Coptic belief systems. It goes beyond Buddhism, atheism, Hinduism, wiccan practices and Satanism. No matter who you are in the world, or w...

We know the kingdom is full of sowers and harvesters, but many seldom consider the work of the plowers. In order for a seed to be planted the field must be plowed. Perhaps plowed many times before the soil is ready for the seed. Plowers bring encounters to people who are not even ready to consider anything spiritually or to those where following Jesus isn't even on their spiritual radar. The plower engages people where they are at in their lives. And seldom is the name Jesus mentioned during these encounters. For the harvesters this method of evangelism seems like complete insanity. How on earth can someone be led to Jesus without evening mentioning the name of Jesus? To some this may sound like a bit of heresy. Evangelism without using the name of Jesus ? Keep in mind just because the name of Jesus isn't mentioned in an encounter means the encounter is void of Jesus. To the contrary, field plowers must be able to feel the presence of Jesus and work with Him and the Fathe...

I never have been fond of handing out tracks. It's not in my gifting to do it properly. I have a homeless friend who is on our Night Strike team and this guy can hand out tracks. It's almost like an anointing on him to pass these out and speak to people about Jesus. When I try it, I usually get pelted by an old woman wielding her purse as a weapon. Tracks just aren't my means of evangelism. I have also seen tracks misused more often than being used effectively. We have had many teams spin off their own street ministry after attending Night Strike. Which is very cool because it means they get what we're doing. It's simple to do street ministry and we equip those people to launch their own efforts. One night I was on the streets and I saw a ministry team that was spun off from a Night Strike event. I was excited and spoke with the man leading his team. We need more people on the streets ministering period! This is a horrible economy and there are more homel...
