M16 Ministries – A Glance Back at 2015

Image
It must be the end of the year! My email inbox is starting to fill up with requests from other ministries to donate to them at the 11th hour before the end of 2015. I enjoy reading the marketing strategies of some of these telethon like campaigns. Some ministry campaigns strategize on the emotions and urgency, “Clock is ticking!”, or “It’s not too late!”. When I read those captions, it doesn’t feel right in the spirit with me. I know it’s the end of the year and we’re all closing our books on 2015. We’re 501c3s we have to show no profit to the IRS. Sure the bank account will be dry. I just feel in my spirit that for me, M16 is a supernatural ministry and all my campaigning for fund raising will happen during a 21 day Daniel fast at the start of the New Year. Oh wait, that is tomorrow. I am pretty much at ease God is in control of 2016. So rather hit you with a “a time is running out” campaign, let’s look at what God has done through M16 Ministries in 2015. Helping those ...

M16 Ministries News and Updates for May 2014

I can't believe June is almost here. Where did the first couple of months of 2014 go? We're a small but very busy ministry. As most of you know, I have been pulled in from my old career for full time ministry. That cut my ministry team in half, Lisa is working 3 jobs now to keep the finances in the black for our household. A lot of my ministry has been solo, hopefully only for the time being, until we can work out this Holy re-org with finances no longer coming in as they once did in the software engineering career. Needless to say, I have been very busy and haven't really had time to produce a newsletter. I have broken down our activities in the following sections. Night Strike  For everyone who has come out and supported Night Strike ministry - BLESSINGS to you! It's an incredible ministry that goes out on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month and we minister to the homeless, drug addicts, and prostitutes on the streets of San Francisco. We work around, but are...

Curse Breaking in Haiti

Image
This past week I had the absolute pleasure to minister with some awesome men of God, from New Hope Evangelical, from Orange City, Iowa. George and Eric Rankin led the team, including Eric's teenage son, William, Joel Leusink, Effiong Bassey, and yours truly. It was an incredible group of men and there was some great Holy Spirit synergy during the prayer sessions we had. Thank you gentlemen for inviting me out to minister with you. We stayed at a facility in Haiti, at the United Christian's International , run by Pastor Jean Jean (pronounced Jon Jon)  and his wife, Christie. This vblog contains video of curse breaking I was involved with on the first day, boots on the ground in Haiti. Blessings Rev. Mike For more information on curse breaking, read our book on spiritual warfare. A Field Guide to Spiritual Warfare - the Power to PULL the IMPOSSIBLE from the HEAVENLY REALMS

Binding Kings ..Defeated by Midgets

Image
When it comes to spiritual warfare and engaging demons the Church tends to be all over the map. From our ministry experience, we have seen time after time where the follower of Jesus is being attacked by a spiritual midget and they don't use their spiritual authority over the situation. Yet, the same individual is called to corporate prayer, they will go straight after a principality and bind them. We have witnessed this with intercessors too, who will bind the demonic kings in their corporate prayers and yet be the first person to run out the door in fear when a spiritual midget manifests in an oppressed person. For some reason we define our spiritual authority in being able to pick a fight with a demonic king. When we are oppressed we run with our tail between our legs screaming, “Help. I am being spiritually attacked!” In the chapter on Authority, in my book, A Field Guide to Spiritual Warfare . I mentioned how the pulpit has dropped the ball in teaching spiritual auth...

Counterpoint: Are Ghosts Compatible with Christian Faith

Image
Usually, I like to stick to my own ramblings in the supernatural. But I have been struggling with how to address the issue of the Christian ghost hunting without coming off and sounding like a pompous condescending scholar on a BBC television show. I wrestled for sometime on how to write this article without offending the intended audience. How do you reach neutral ground on a tough subject and not make people upset or angry about their beliefs? What finally hashed out is this article. I don't usually address other people's work in my adventures and ramblings, but it makes sense to do so in this case. On the Paranormal Warriors of St. Michael website Fr. Bob Bailey has written an article on “ Are Ghosts Compatible With ChristianFaith? ”. I will use this article to write a counterpoint using the arguments and facts presented by Fr. Bob Bailey to bring to light some critical points in theology on this matter. Let's open with Fr. Bob Bailey's paragraph to keep his...

Curse Breaking Freemasonry and Daughters of the Eastern Star

Image
Probably the two most controversial spirits walking into our churches and placing strongholds on the church body are Freemasonry and yoga. I will discuss yoga manifestations in a future blog. Now before you roll your eyes and point me to a let us reason Christian web site I should disclose the following bit of information. For decades I was spiritually asleep in the church pews. I did church rather well and I loved Jesus. I just wasn't in a deep relationship with my Lord and saviour and creator. From my perspective, back then, everything pertaining to Jesus' and his miracles ended with the book of Acts and the Apostles. I was completely oblivious to spiritual activity in the church. I thought all spiritual activity looked like Linda Blair in the movie the Exorcist. In November 2006, the Holy Spirit woke me up. In the months that followed, the great teacher, the Holy Spirit revealed a lot of things to me. Since my formal training is in science and enginnering, I wasn't...
