Following the Holy Spirit is always an adventure. He places dreams on your heart, and speaks to you in dreams when you sleep. I never fully knew where I was being taken in His plans when I was launched into spiritual warfare ministry back in 2008. The Holy Spirit taught me supernatural ministry on the streets. I really enjoyed His one-on-one training. What I encountered on the streets of San Francisco was to later prepare me for the plans He had for me in ministry. Since that time the Holy Spirit has trained me in deliverance ministry and beyond. My heart was always for the street ministry, but I was needed elsewhere. The Holy Spirit had trained me in some very dark spiritual warfare, again it fell under the charter of M16 Ministries, helping those who had nowhere else to turn. Supernatural Ministry and Inner Healing in SF Many times in the church we ask God to take us out of our comfort zone.  If you want to step into supernatural ministry this is a must. A lot of times people don't comprehend what stepping out of your comfort zone means. People used to ask me to pray over them so they would have the impartation to go out on the streets to minister to the homeless. I noticed these people I prayed over never showed up to minster in the streets. What they needed was a Friday night couch impartation . So I quit praying over the people who asked me to be released into the streets. It was a waste of my time. I did notice that the people who showed up to minister on the streets were blessed immensely by their sacrifice. God would show them the supernatural. These were super special people operating in the supernatural who were just dependable and consistent. There is a nickels worth of free theology there. It was pretty cold night out in San Francisco last night. (Friday April 10, 2015). From the moment we pulled into the civic center area, looking for parking, the streets were lined with homeless people looking for places to bed down for the night. This was one of those more surreal nights for Night Strike, if you could imagine that. We're in the darkest neighborhood of San Francisco, with high crime and drugs, it's not safe - and I am calling it a surreal night. What makes it more different than any other Night Strike? It was the amount of people who were on the streets and it wasn't by their choice. It was economic conditions that forced them to be on the streets. Primarily, affordable housing. In the old days of Night Strike we wouldn't come across a lot of women who were homeless. We had an incredible night in ministry on Friday evening, November 28, 2014, it was the night immediately after Thanksgiving. Angela met up with Lisa and I as we did an impromptu Night Strike in the TL. As we drove into the city across the bay bridge I commented on what a beautiful evening this was turning out to be. Not a cloud in the sky, no fog. From the bay bridge we could clearly see the lights of the Golden Gate bridge, yes, it was one of those unusually clear and beautiful nights in the city. As we pulled into the parking area on Fulton, it was immediately clear there were an unusually high number of homeless people out on the streets this evening. Once we parked the car, we made our way over to the traditional meeting area of the horse statute with our bags of items to distribute to the people there. But I think this was the title of the evening that unfolded last Friday night, October 25, 2013. Bob and Kimberly Johnson ministries brought a street ministry team down from Redding, Ca. With our Night Strike leaders and the team from BKJM we probably had about 30 people in all out on the streets with us. On this particular evening my team I was on was attempting to leave the plaza at Felton and Hyde, only God kept sending the people to us. Sometimes He does this to us, He sends His kids into the plaza to meet us. We were swamped with people from the streets coming in wanting supplies and some good prayer over them. Friday May 10, 2013 logged another incredible night on the streets of San Francisco with Night Strike. The weather was absolutely gorgeous with a hint of "San Francisco cold". We had about 40 people out with us on the streets from various churches in the bay area. We had the Rock from Roseville young adult group out with us too on this evening. Incredible group of young people who weren't afraid to dive right in and pray and minister in the prophetic. It was an great night right from the start. Night Strike got to breakout it's newly donated sound system. What a difference a microphone makes in addressing groups of people and praying from the UN Plaza. It was definitely a step up over projecting the ol'voice. From the UN Plaza we shipped out 6 teams to go in directions that were led by the Holy Spirit. For most of you reading this post, it is a celebration of Good Friday. It is a day of remembrance for what Jesus did on the cross for ME. I know, you expected me to write, a religious day of remembrance, celebrated by Christians, for Jesus' victory on the cross. Or you may be from the school, that it is Christian celebration for the myth of Christ to control the masses. Believe what ever you want to believe. But the accurate definition, a day of remembrance for what Jesus did for ME!  If there is any confusion, speak it out loud to yourself. These are not magic incantations or the ramblings of a lunatic. Speak it out verbatim as I have it for you here. These words are for you. Good Friday is a day of remembrance for what Jesus did for ME! This definition is universal. It goes beyond, Christian doctrine, whether Protestant, Catholic, or Coptic belief systems. It goes beyond Buddhism, atheism, Hinduism, wiccan practices and Satanism. We know the kingdom is full of sowers and harvesters, but many seldom consider the work of the plowers. In order for a seed to be planted the field must be plowed. Perhaps plowed many times before the soil is ready for the seed. Plowers bring encounters to people who are not even ready to consider anything spiritually or to those where following Jesus isn't even on their spiritual radar. The plower engages people where they are at in their lives. And seldom is the name Jesus mentioned during these encounters. For the harvesters this method of evangelism seems like complete insanity. How on earth can someone be led to Jesus without evening mentioning the name of Jesus? To some this may sound like a bit of heresy. Evangelism without using the name of Jesus ? Keep in mind just because the name of Jesus isn't mentioned in an encounter means the encounter is void of Jesus. To the contrary, field plowers must be able to feel the presence of Jesus and work with Him and the Fathe...

I never have been fond of handing out tracks. It's not in my gifting to do it properly. I have a homeless friend who is on our Night Strike team and this guy can hand out tracks. It's almost like an anointing on him to pass these out and speak to people about Jesus. When I try it, I usually get pelted by an old woman wielding her purse as a weapon. Tracks just aren't my means of evangelism. I have also seen tracks misused more often than being used effectively. We have had many teams spin off their own street ministry after attending Night Strike. Which is very cool because it means they get what we're doing. It's simple to do street ministry and we equip those people to launch their own efforts. One night I was on the streets and I saw a ministry team that was spun off from a Night Strike event. In first couple of chapters of 1 Corinthians, the Apostle Paul talks about the wisdom of God. In verse 2:4, “My teaching and preaching were not with words of human wisdom that persuade people but with proof of the power that the (Holy) Spirit gives.” In this context the Apostle Paul was speaking about the power of the works on the cross and the resurrection of Christ to defeat sin. Many times we find in street ministry that the proof of the power the Spirit gives is dispensed in any form God chooses. Welcome to 2012 2011 was an incredible year for our ministry. Our ministry has been humbled by the number of people who the Lord put in contact with us and allowed our ministry to meet their needs. The Father has come and met the needs of His children, some in their darkest hour. The light of Jesus Christ has always come crashing through. Some people we get to meet first hand, others we meet with a phone call. Our magic jack, which I have renamed the Jesus Jack, has become indispensable in ministry and reaching others, whom we can't meet in person. The ministry exploded with the release of the Field Guide to Spiritual Warfare - the POWER to PULL the IMPOSSIBLE from the HEAVENLY REALM (FGSW). We have received e-mails from people who read the book and met Jesus face down on their floor in the middle of demonic battle.
