Back in 2007, when God started my spiritual warfare ministry (notice how I phrased that), I had no idea what deliverance ministry was. Long story short (covered in A Field Guide to Spiritual Warfare - the Power to PULL the IMPOSSIBLE from the HEAVENLY REALMS ), I found myself several months later on the streets of San Francisco, doing homeless ministry, through Bob Johnson's City Ministries, Night Strike on Friday nights. My very first night on a Night Strike, I was in the Tenderloin with my team, led by husband and wife, Wayne and Diane. Also on our small team were, Matthew (aka Hollywood) whom would stay on with me later as a key Night Strike member, and Mark, who was the youth pastor, from Harvest Christian Church (but has since moved on). On the streets, we encountered a homeless woman, I handed her some warm soup and started talking with her. I asked her if she would like for me to pray with her. She took a sip of her soup and replied, "Oh, sure. That would be nice....

Supernatural Ministry and Inner Healing in SF Many times in the church we ask God to take us out of our comfort zone.  If you want to step into supernatural ministry this is a must. A lot of times people don't comprehend what stepping out of your comfort zone means. People used to ask me to pray over them so they would have the impartation to go out on the streets to minister to the homeless. I noticed these people I prayed over never showed up to minster in the streets. What they needed was a Friday night couch impartation . So I quit praying over the people who asked me to be released into the streets. It was a waste of my time. I did notice that the people who showed up to minister on the streets were blessed immensely by their sacrifice. God would show them the supernatural. These were super special people operating in the supernatural who were just dependable and consistent. There is a nickels worth of free theology there. It was pretty cold night out in San Francisco last night. (Friday April 10, 2015). From the moment we pulled into the civic center area, looking for parking, the streets were lined with homeless people looking for places to bed down for the night. This was one of those more surreal nights for Night Strike, if you could imagine that. We're in the darkest neighborhood of San Francisco, with high crime and drugs, it's not safe - and I am calling it a surreal night. What makes it more different than any other Night Strike? It was the amount of people who were on the streets and it wasn't by their choice. It was economic conditions that forced them to be on the streets. Primarily, affordable housing. In the old days of Night Strike we wouldn't come across a lot of women who were homeless. We had an incredible night in ministry on Friday evening, November 28, 2014, it was the night immediately after Thanksgiving. Angela met up with Lisa and I as we did an impromptu Night Strike in the TL. As we drove into the city across the bay bridge I commented on what a beautiful evening this was turning out to be. Not a cloud in the sky, no fog. From the bay bridge we could clearly see the lights of the Golden Gate bridge, yes, it was one of those unusually clear and beautiful nights in the city. As we pulled into the parking area on Fulton, it was immediately clear there were an unusually high number of homeless people out on the streets this evening. Once we parked the car, we made our way over to the traditional meeting area of the horse statute with our bags of items to distribute to the people there. M16 Ministries – Where We’ve Been in 13 and Where We’re Going in 14  I know it’s February 2014 and here I am finally getting back to what happened in 2013. In my perspective, 2013 was a whirlwind adventure for M16 Ministries. We equipped churches in prophetic street ministry and deliverance. We hosted extreme prophetic ministry outreaches at street fairs and New Age psychic expos. We look for venues that are crying out spiritually. I don’t disclose where we go. But it’s off the hook ministry. Why do we go to these places? It takes a special ministry team and God wants to show these people how much He loves them. When we come in the love of the Father we are embraced by the people at these events. They are in turn deeply impacted by the words and destiny spoken over them. One of my favorite days of doing ministry is always on Friday the 13th. For most people it is a taboo day of self-expectant bad luck. I love this day because God loves to mock taboo especially Friday the 13th. God seems to really cut loose on this cyclic calendar date. For some time I had been praying to be released into sending Night Strike teams back into the Mission District. As I purchased food and drove it over to Mary S, for her team to prep, I was having a conversation with Jesus in my car. Jesus had a plan and I was to take a Night Strike team and return a Night Strike presence in the Mission district of San Francisco. TONIGHT! In the evening, as the team leaders met up at our IN-N-Out Burger carpool location, it turns out that Mary S was the first to volunteer to be on the team to go out tonight. Better late than never. I know. I am getting ready for Night Strike ministry for this Friday August 09, 2013, and I am just getting around to documenting NS from July 26, 2013. Well, it's been one of those months. We have been blessed with favor and having Mary S. and an incredible group of people prepare some fabulous food to bring to God's children on the streets. Mary's team prepared sandwich wraps, which were an incredible and immediate hit on the streets. We had a great turnout of people for our July 26, 2013 Friday Night Strike. I think we sent out about 5 teams of 8-10 people on this evening. I went out on Sonia P's team. And she was led by the Spirit and took us to different places on the streets in and around Bill Graham Center and the Tenderloin. On one of our stops I had the pleasure to minister with Andrea B, who had a great prophetic word for a woman we encountered on the streets. Friday May 10, 2013 logged another incredible night on the streets of San Francisco with Night Strike. The weather was absolutely gorgeous with a hint of "San Francisco cold". We had about 40 people out with us on the streets from various churches in the bay area. We had the Rock from Roseville young adult group out with us too on this evening. Incredible group of young people who weren't afraid to dive right in and pray and minister in the prophetic. It was an great night right from the start. Night Strike got to breakout it's newly donated sound system. What a difference a microphone makes in addressing groups of people and praying from the UN Plaza. It was definitely a step up over projecting the ol'voice. From the UN Plaza we shipped out 6 teams to go in directions that were led by the Holy Spirit. The Night Strike crew had a great night on the streets in San Francisco. This is the recap from Friday April 12, 2013. We had the team from Santa Cruz School of the Supernatural with us on the streets. The SCSM is training leaders to take routes on the streets on Night Strikes. We had our team leaders on hand, Lisa, Diana, Sonja, Teresea, Bruce, Dennis (Jr.), Bobby, and Hollywood (Joseph). Along with them we had Dorothea, Charde, Mary and Tess. We had several teams on the streets in the Tenderloin of San Francisco. Nearly everyone came back at the end of the evening with a testimony of a really great encounter on the streets. I am going to reflect on some of the highlights I had while I was on the streets on Diana's team, we had Ken and Kim from SCSM, Charde (who was out on her first Night Strike), Booby, and Hollywood. I never have been fond of handing out tracks. It's not in my gifting to do it properly. I have a homeless friend who is on our Night Strike team and this guy can hand out tracks. It's almost like an anointing on him to pass these out and speak to people about Jesus. When I try it, I usually get pelted by an old woman wielding her purse as a weapon. Tracks just aren't my means of evangelism. I have also seen tracks misused more often than being used effectively. We have had many teams spin off their own street ministry after attending Night Strike. Which is very cool because it means they get what we're doing. It's simple to do street ministry and we equip those people to launch their own efforts. One night I was on the streets and I saw a ministry team that was spun off from a Night Strike event. In first couple of chapters of 1 Corinthians, the Apostle Paul talks about the wisdom of God. In verse 2:4, “My teaching and preaching were not with words of human wisdom that persuade people but with proof of the power that the (Holy) Spirit gives.” In this context the Apostle Paul was speaking about the power of the works on the cross and the resurrection of Christ to defeat sin. Many times we find in street ministry that the proof of the power the Spirit gives is dispensed in any form God chooses. We had a ministry team from Vanguard University out on the streets of the Haight, this last Thursday night (03/15/12). During one of our ministry stops, as we walked the streets, to disperse food, on this night, we encountered a woman named Sandy. Nearly everyone we encounter on the streets is an addict. Sandy had obviously been using prior to our arrival. She was very coherent, but nonetheless, was high. I remember meeting Sandy as she introduced herself to me as a...
