What do you do when you want to reach out to God, but your heart is agony? Maybe your praying for healing for yourself or for a loved one that is extremely ill. Or perhaps the unthinkable, your prayer request for a full healing went unanswered. This is a place of agony and complete brokeness in your heart. Your heart is painfully shattered in pieces, and you feel nothing but darkness around you. Possibly even your faith has been shaken to the core. The pain of the heart crying out is so intense that it is no longer just emotional, but it is physical and tangible. This is the place of inner turmoil and agony that I wish on no one. But sadly, everyone is bound to experience during their journey through this life. How do you hear God when you feel He has abandoned you or you're angry at Him? Back in 2007, when God started my spiritual warfare ministry (notice how I phrased that), I had no idea what deliverance ministry was. Long story short (covered in A Field Guide to Spiritual Warfare - the Power to PULL the IMPOSSIBLE from the HEAVENLY REALMS ), I found myself several months later on the streets of San Francisco, doing homeless ministry, through Bob Johnson's City Ministries, Night Strike on Friday nights. My very first night on a Night Strike, I was in the Tenderloin with my team, led by husband and wife, Wayne and Diane. Also on our small team were, Matthew (aka Hollywood) whom would stay on with me later as a key Night Strike member, and Mark, who was the youth pastor, from Harvest Christian Church (but has since moved on). On the streets, we encountered a homeless woman, I handed her some warm soup and started talking with her. I asked her if she would like for me to pray with her. She took a sip of her soup and replied, "Oh, sure. That would be nice....

As a Christian counselor in the San Francisco Bay area, I have the pleasure of working with people who survived childhood trauma.  In counseling sessions, we work on inner healing to help heal the part of the soul that was wounded or in more severe cases fractured into multiple identities in consciousness. During these sessions, Jesus Christ is the one who brings healing to the wounded soul. My job as a counselor and spiritual director is to work with these souls and identities connect with Jesus. From these sessions, I have observed a growing trend where souls are not able to connect with the indwelling Jesus. Why I find this startling is because a lot of these souls are people I worked with at one point or another in evangelistic outreach ministries. This observation was curious to me that these souls could do prophetic ministry and yet not hear God for themselves. How is that these people could hear from God for others, but not connect with God at all on a very subtle level?...

We had an incredible night in ministry on Friday evening, November 28, 2014, it was the night immediately after Thanksgiving. Angela met up with Lisa and I as we did an impromptu Night Strike in the TL. As we drove into the city across the bay bridge I commented on what a beautiful evening this was turning out to be. Not a cloud in the sky, no fog. From the bay bridge we could clearly see the lights of the Golden Gate bridge, yes, it was one of those unusually clear and beautiful nights in the city. As we pulled into the parking area on Fulton, it was immediately clear there were an unusually high number of homeless people out on the streets this evening. Once we parked the car, we made our way over to the traditional meeting area of the horse statute with our bags of items to distribute to the people there. Night Strike Recap for Friday May 09 2014 Sometimes I wish I could go out more often on the streets and help serve these incredible people. It was another phenomenal night on the streets. The ferocious May winds were causing a horrible chill. Yes, the worst time to be in San Francisco is in May. Market Street was a wind tunnel. Some of our friends who endure the rain were already packing up and seeking shelter from the piercing wind. It was cold! We had a great time on the streets ministering to the people. One gentleman, Bob, who found the M16 Ministries web site, brave the winds to come meet us at the plaza and find out what we're all about. Night Strike recap Friday March 14, 2014 What a Difference Worship Makes! It's great to have a worship team back out with us on Night Strike. We see lot's of miracles and life impacting touches from the heavenly Father when we're out on the streets. But when you add a worship team to the mix and keep an open heaven - we see so much more going on in the street ministry. David and Josette Brown actually started leading worship two weeks ago on a wet rainy Night Strike. Last night it was a gorgeous night in the city. The worship music was well received. We had homeless and people just walking by, stop and sit at the pedestal of the statue and and enjoy the worship music. For those of you old Night Strikers, you know the leadership position changes when you have a worship team and you now need to stay back at the plaza to be the bouncer for them. M16 Ministries – Where We’ve Been in 13 and Where We’re Going in 14  I know it’s February 2014 and here I am finally getting back to what happened in 2013. In my perspective, 2013 was a whirlwind adventure for M16 Ministries. We equipped churches in prophetic street ministry and deliverance. We hosted extreme prophetic ministry outreaches at street fairs and New Age psychic expos. We look for venues that are crying out spiritually. I don’t disclose where we go. But it’s off the hook ministry. Why do we go to these places? It takes a special ministry team and God wants to show these people how much He loves them. When we come in the love of the Father we are embraced by the people at these events. They are in turn deeply impacted by the words and destiny spoken over them. As I was shooting video for the VBLOG today I came across old video on the camera sandisk that was shot last Spring. Pastor Jimi Merrell and I put on a Prophetic Bootcamp - a 4 hour crash course in prophetic ministry. Here is an excerpt on that class. I open with discussions on mystical theology concepts, from Saint Teresa of Avila, on hearing God -  (latin locutio) locutions and the different ways we hear and feel God's presence.
