Night Strike Supernatural Ministry Friday May 9 2014

Night Strike Recap for Friday May 09 2014 Sometimes I wish I could go out more often on the streets and help serve these incredible people. It was another phenomenal night on the streets. The ferocious May winds were causing a horrible chill. Yes, the worst time to be in San Francisco is in May. Market Street was a wind tunnel. Some of our friends who endure the rain were already packing up and seeking shelter from the piercing wind. It was cold! We had a great time on the streets ministering to the people. One gentleman, Bob, who found the M16 Ministries web site, brave the winds to come meet us at the plaza and find out what we're all about. Rick and Rich, along with my son, Josh, and a woman, I believe her name was Kate, set off for the Tenderloin. Brian, Mary, Lori (Happy Birthday!!), Mike, and Missty, went down Market St. I took a team, Dennis, Michelle, Dale, Cindy, and Bob went over to the Bill Graham. We encountered lots of people on the streets. Some more clever a...

Night Strike Supernatural Ministry Friday March 14 2014

Night Strike recap Friday March 14, 2014 What a Difference Worship Makes! It's great to have a worship team back out with us on Night Strike. We see lot's of miracles and life impacting touches from the heavenly Father when we're out on the streets. But when you add a worship team to the mix and keep an open heaven - we see so much more going on in the street ministry. David and Josette Brown actually started leading worship two weeks ago on a wet rainy Night Strike. Last night it was a gorgeous night in the city. The worship music was well received. We had homeless and people just walking by, stop and sit at the pedestal of the statue and and enjoy the worship music. For those of you old Night Strikers, you know the leadership position changes when you have a worship team and you now need to stay back at the plaza to be the bouncer for them. It's San Francisco anything can happen. We had all sorts of people come by us and some even stayed. Some people tipped t...

M16 Ministries Belated Farewell to 2013

M16 Ministries – Where We’ve Been in 13 and Where We’re Going in 14  I know it’s February 2014 and here I am finally getting back to what happened in 2013. In my perspective, 2013 was a whirlwind adventure for M16 Ministries. We equipped churches in prophetic street ministry and deliverance. We hosted extreme prophetic ministry outreaches at street fairs and New Age psychic expos. We look for venues that are crying out spiritually. I don’t disclose where we go. But it’s off the hook ministry. Why do we go to these places? It takes a special ministry team and God wants to show these people how much He loves them. When we come in the love of the Father we are embraced by the people at these events. They are in turn deeply impacted by the words and destiny spoken over them. IT’s been a long relationship and trust building journey. At these venues, God spoke to around 300 or more people in our encounters booths. Validation from God at a psychic expo As many of you know Re...

Proof of the Power that the Spirit Gives

Image
In first couple of chapters of 1 Corinthians, the Apostle Paul talks about the wisdom of God. In verse 2:4, “My teaching and preaching were not with words of human wisdom that persuade people but with proof of the power that the (Holy) Spirit gives.” In this context the Apostle Paul was speaking about the power of the works on the cross and the resurrection of Christ to defeat sin. Many times we find in street ministry that the proof of the power the Spirit gives is dispensed in any form God chooses. We had a ministry team from Vanguard University out on the streets of the Haight, this last Thursday night (03/15/12). During one of our ministry stops, as we walked the streets, to disperse food, on this night, we encountered a woman named Sandy. Nearly everyone we encounter on the streets is an addict. Sandy had obviously been using prior to our arrival. She was very coherent, but nonetheless, was high. I remember meeting Sandy as she introduced herself to me as a...

The Great Commission or a Church Resume?

Image
I was recently asked about healing in ministry. Which is a topic I love to share with anyone who asks. In this case there was a definite tone to the  question which struck me odd. "Have you seen any healing miracles?" It was from another Christian and the question was raised after I mentioned I was in a healing ministry. The question didn't come from a person that doubted miracles either. The question was raised by a person who thought only the church they attended saw true miracles. So any miracle outside of the ones observed in this church were of a lesser calibre miracle or weren't true miracles at all.  Which was interesting and at the same time to me, a bit sad. I have worked in ministry from people at this church and this wasn't their view at all on healing and miracles.  I have seen this same spirit before in large churches that heaven, miracles and gifts of the spirit are reserved exclusively for these churches or a denomination for that matter.  W...

Vietnam Ministry in Rehab

Time is flying here on our trip to Vietnam. I am out here with a team of people. A few days back we ministered in a rehab facility. The rehab facility has about 40 young men and about 15 young women. Our team ministered and prayed for the young people in the facility. I had to work with an interpreter because I don't speak the Vietnamese language. Speaking to a group of people through an interpreter is not an easy task. When I finished my teaching I had a prayer call for the people in attendance to come up for prayer. The people raced to line up in the prayer lines. The first person in my line was a young woman with a sprained wrist. She held up her arm to me so I could see the wrist bone was out of alignment. I started praying and the interpreter started interpreting over the microphone what I was praying. I told my interpreter, Sally, to put down the microphone and we'll pray together for this woman with the injured wrist. We started praying together and the young woman said...

M16 Prophetic Evangelism & Healing

M16 Ministries Prophetic Evangelism and Healing: Love The Sinner Many times when we go out on the streets we'll encounter people involved in the dark arts. Every person in creation is a child of God. We pray with these people too. So will let us pray for them and some won't. That's just the way it is. If they allow us to pray with them, God shows up in big ways. And we let God handle the encounter. You may want to double-click on the video below to watch it full-screen, youtube videos get poorly cropped in these blog pags.

Reaching the Unreachable

Reaching the Unreachable   14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Romans 10:14-15             Mike Norton ministers to the city of San Francisco. “It’s a spiritual battlefield” that he and a team of other Christians have marked as their fight. “We’re at war,” Mike says, comparing his mission to the Biblical story of Joshua. “And there are giants.”             Although his mission seems tremendous, Mike knows his purpose is simply to plant seeds. “Change one life at a time – never minister to someone and have an agenda,” he says. “[God] will not shove the Gospel down someone’s throat. He will min...

Eye Site Healing in the Haight -with Lion's Pride Ministries

Our M16 Ministry team rarely gets to testify on all the cool healings we're a part of. The cool victories of people being declared by their doctors miraculously healed goes under the table for privacy purposes. When you share the Gospel, heal the sick, drive out demons -and we're still working on raising the dead. You tend to see miracles. Many people seem to think we're all about fighting demons. And I get the warnings of be careful not to engage the enemy, "recklessly". But the truth of the matter is, it's not about the demons. We're not into chasing miracles and seeing the demonic. We're ABOUT sharing the Gospel with the people teetering on the edge, at the frontlines. And when you're on the frontlines you're gonna see warfare -the demons. I am talking about Ephesians 6:12 ! We could care less about the demons, our focus is on the repenting heart . That is the true miracle we're after. And that's why our team goes to the streets ...
