All Good Things Must Come to an End… Night Strike has been a very passionate ministry for Lisa and I. I have been involved with Night Strike since January of 2008. Night Strike is a supernatural ministry where we have seen many miracles, signs and wonders on the streets of the city of San Francisco. Where we ministered to the homeless, drug addicts, and prostitutes. Night Strike was started in 1999 by Bob Johnson and Mark Neitz, who were then part of little church in Weaverville, Ca, named Frontline church. It was during my early days with Night Strike that the Holy Spirit worked with me in the mysteries of spiritual warfare. It was pretty cold night out in San Francisco last night. (Friday April 10, 2015). From the moment we pulled into the civic center area, looking for parking, the streets were lined with homeless people looking for places to bed down for the night. This was one of those more surreal nights for Night Strike, if you could imagine that. We're in the darkest neighborhood of San Francisco, with high crime and drugs, it's not safe - and I am calling it a surreal night. What makes it more different than any other Night Strike? It was the amount of people who were on the streets and it wasn't by their choice. It was economic conditions that forced them to be on the streets. Primarily, affordable housing. In the old days of Night Strike we wouldn't come across a lot of women who were homeless. As 2014 comes to a close this week I would like to share with you some of the incredible ways God has been using us in ministry. The first 21 days of the New Year, Lisa and I like going on a Daniel Fast to listen for direction from God. In January we also were invited to go speak at Bethel Church, for Bob and Kimberly Johnson ministries, where I spoke on two of my favorite topics, Mystical Theology, and Spiritual Warfare. This was an exciting time and it was a lot of fun. January pretty much flew by, no sooner than Lisa and I had finished our Daniel Fast, we were given the first house haunting case for the New Year. As most of you already know, M16 Ministries is not strictly a spiritual warfare ministry, we also lead homeless ministry in San Francisco, with Night Strike, and we also equip and lead people into prophetic ministry venues not readily accessible to the average Christian believer. We had an incredible night in ministry on Friday evening, November 28, 2014, it was the night immediately after Thanksgiving. Angela met up with Lisa and I as we did an impromptu Night Strike in the TL. As we drove into the city across the bay bridge I commented on what a beautiful evening this was turning out to be. Not a cloud in the sky, no fog. From the bay bridge we could clearly see the lights of the Golden Gate bridge, yes, it was one of those unusually clear and beautiful nights in the city. As we pulled into the parking area on Fulton, it was immediately clear there were an unusually high number of homeless people out on the streets this evening. Once we parked the car, we made our way over to the traditional meeting area of the horse statute with our bags of items to distribute to the people there. I can't believe June is almost here. Where did the first couple of months of 2014 go? We're a small but very busy ministry. As most of you know, I have been pulled in from my old career for full time ministry. That cut my ministry team in half, Lisa is working 3 jobs now to keep the finances in the black for our household. A lot of my ministry has been solo, hopefully only for the time being, until we can work out this Holy re-org with finances no longer coming in as they once did in the software engineering career. Needless to say, I have been very busy and haven't really had time to produce a newsletter. I have broken down our activities in the following sections.
