Once again it was another beautiful night in the city of Saint Francis (San Francisco). Mark Neitz brought about 20 people from his youth group at the Gateway church. Incredible bunch of young people. I had the honor of leading half the team out to the streets. It was good to see an old Night Strike leader, Forrest, come out tonight. Forrest set me straight years ago on the gifts of the Spirit. I believed we could only have one. Don't you love these preconceived notions? On my second Night Strike I ever went out on I was placed on Forrest's team. That night, Forrest told his team it was going to be a night of healing on the streets. I boldly raised my hand and said my spiritual gift wasn't in healing. Forrest renounced my short comings and proclaimed that 'tonight I am a healer'. And things literally took off from there. Tuesday March 09 – Friday March 12, 2010 I had the incredible pleasure of ministering with Mark Neitz ministries and Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) in the city of San Francisco. In this ministry outreach we stayed in the city in a little church that was local for our base of operations. Days were beautiful but the temperature dropped significantly at night in the church we were staying in. This only covers the events I was a part of. Many other things happened in groups I wasn't working with at the time. This is not completely edited and proofed. I wanted to journal as much as I could before forgetting the events and details. Many people consider our Night Strike outreach to be specifically a drug addict, prostitute and homeless outreach. But if you know Mark and Bob long enough our true charter is to go into the dark places where everyone else tells us not to go and that's where we find heaven's treasure. God is having me expand my horizons in prayer these past several months. It's not about the ministry, it's about the minister. God would rather see a crystal cathedral built in your soul than a man made crystal cathedral built to seat thousands. I have been researching the writings of Catholic church saints from the 1500's, and wow, the stuff you come across. History wants to paint the Catholic church as not having God in it at all during these times. This was the era of the Spanish Inquisition. Despite the horrors of this period, there were those who were deeply seeking God and trying to change the church around from the evil ways of man. Some even risked being called heretics and their writings and theology was directly in the face of the inquisitors. There is a lot of misinformation spreading through the churches today on what a psychic is and how they can talk to spirits. Paranormal research has now become a mainstream past time due heavily in part to the success of the long running Ghost Hunters series on the SyFy channel. The wide availability of podcasting has also sparked a sub-culture in capturing and broadcasting supernatural phenomena. There must be hundreds of paranormal research groups on the Internet. With that said, let's revisit the lessons learned from Wikipedia. Just because the information is on the Internet does not guarantee reliability of the source or the factuality of the information.
