Tim and Cindy McGill Hope for the Harvest

Tuesday December 15, we were fortunate to host a house fellowship for Tim and Cindy McGill of Hope for the Harvest. Cindy is an energetic and dynamic speaker with lots of great testimony on her adventures in prophetic evangelism. Cindy shared with our group (mainly Bay Area Dream team and City Ministries Night Strike members in attendence) some stories from Burning Man and her dream film project, titled Dreams.

Cindy usually takes a team out to the Sundance film festival as a dream interpretation out reach. She tried to enter her film project into Sundance, but there were over 9800 entries and her film project wasn't chosen. Less than a hundred were chosen this year. HOWEVER - the Dreams film is entered in overseas film festivals, at the International Film Festival Ireland, June 4-11, 2010, African Enterprise (AE ICFF) Pietermaritzburg, South Africa: June 1st-5th 2010 and a film festival in Egypt. It's some very exciting times for Cindy and her ministry.

Tim McGill shared with us some prophetic words on the shift of structure. Some great points in scripture too on how Barnabas and Saul fasted and worshiped before the birth of the apostolic ministry of the church.

Sunday Service at the Oil Church in San Francisco

My home away from home church is the Free Evangelic Church . It was one of those liberating Sundays for me to sneak out and go to the Oil Church, as it is informally known as, in San Francisco. Located in the Mission District neighborhood in the city, the church has an indiscriminate front which is easily missed when looking for the building. Today, I got to slip out with the Scooby gang, my sons Matt, and Joshua, and with us were Andrea and Devon and Luke. The Oil Church earned it's name by the manifestation of oil that occurs during church service. For the past 60 years or so, the Free Evangelical Church of San Francisco, gets regular visitations, by 650 angels during the gospel service.   Many long time attendees of the Free Evangelic have Bibles that looked like they were left out in the rain. Curse Breaking Freemasonry and Daughters of the Eastern Star

Probably the two most controversial spirits walking into our churches and placing strongholds on the church body are Freemasonry and yoga. I will discuss yoga manifestations in a future blog. Now before you roll your eyes and point me to a let us reason Christian web site I should disclose the following bit of information. For decades I was spiritually asleep in the church pews. I did church rather well and I loved Jesus. I just wasn't in a deep relationship with my Lord and saviour and creator. Demonic Obsession - Torment in the Church

I wrote in the Field Guide to Spiritual Warfare , how the Holy Spirit would have me in different seasons of learning. One season was on the streets, where people would walk up to me and have the spirits oppressing them identify themselves. We had this experience recently, on the streets, we were training seminary students in street ministry. The seminary students were able to approach one individual, but a ministry friend of mine, Katie, and myself, were growled at by this person and his spirits told us to stay away from him. The spirits in this individual could see our authority in Christ. It’s good to see it’s not just me, but the Holy Spirit is raising up our friend Katie too. The Holy Spirit will lead you through seasons to reveal the supernatural to you. And many times in this season the Holy Spirit will break you -to make you usable in the new area He is training you in.
